Good day mga sirs. Need help regarding our 89 corolla 4af engine. Biglang nawala ang park lights at gauge cluster lights. May sidemarker sya which is both park at turn signal light. Gumagana headlights h/l, turn at hazard lights.
Ang nakakapagtaka, may parklight at turn signal ang left side marker only. So hindi sya switch. At hindi din relay.
I already replaced lahat ng blade fuses sa kick panel at sa yung fusebox under the hood, but still wala pa rin.
Baka may kelangan pako dapat i-check aside sa fuses?
    TIA Tsikot

check electrical connections in the fusebox. sometimes, it's not the fuse but the fuse holders and the metal thingees under it.. lalo na kung may signs of hi temp (melting, blackening, distortion).
good luck. ahh.. my aching back..

Thank you for the reply sir. So kelangan ko baklasin ang fuseboxes pala. Sinabi mo pa sir. Sakit na ng likod ko kakadungaw. Baka po pwede nyo ako bigyan ng idea ng circuit ng parking lights? From the combination switch tapos relay ba o fuse?

    TIA

let's see... try and check the relays. i guess i forgot about these earlier because our first cars had no relays, only direct battery-and-switch connections.

Regarding the parking light relay, I think I found it. Sa may kick panel fuse box, above that. Parang cylindrical yung top portion then it has 4 prongs placed in a socket. It ticks when I twist the parking light switch. The only light that turns on would be the left side marker. But the thing is, if I flip the turn signal to the left it should also blink but its not. Only the other side blinks on turn signal but no parking lights.

I'll try to replace it then.

Just use the regular white bulb or white LED.

any other color just looks off.

park lights, i think, are not required by law. you may use any light color except those forbidden in the rulebook.
but if i may lecture.. yellow, orange, and white, are the colors deemed bright enough to be used as park lights.. using other colors, in my opinion, would be a lapse in sound judgement.

basta kapag na-aksidente, handa mong sagutin ang "hindi ko nakita ang park lights niya, e".
