    Ano kaya prob nito mga gurus

    Mahina yung ilaw ng oil warning

    With light



    No light



    Car is 2010 everest.

    Patulong naman po.

    generic explanation:
    oil pressure is dependent on three things:
    1. oil volume in the sump;
    2. oil pump; and
    3. resistance to oil flow.

    you may be low on oil. it's easy to check this.
    is your oil pump ok? this, i know not how to check.
    your crankshaft bearings are so worn out, they offer little resistance to oil flow. this results in low oil pressure being generated. the oil light (in my experience) lights up but it tends to flicker.. translation: engine overhaul.

    Patay makina sir? Pag patay makina normal lang na umilaw lahat ng indicator light. Pag bukas makina umiilaw din ba sir?

    Yung light lang nga. Natakot naman ako sa engine overhaul. Haha. Everything is working fine naman, yung light lang. Minsan malakas yan, minsan sobrang hina. San ko kaya pwede ipaayos yan?

    Kung walang check engine, ok yan. Basta tumatakbo na at walang ilaw, no problem. Kung umilaw, low on oil. Check dipstick to make sure.

    May loose connection lang siguro sa supply ng battery terminal , ignition switch contact at fuse.

    Parang walang ilaw. Yung aninag ng ilaw sa madilim galing sa adjacent lighted peanut bulbs, Iilaw dapat yan when engine not running. Kung under 3yr warranty, claim mo na lang sa dealer. Pacheck mo ang pressure switch baka stucked or busted peanut bulb.

    tingn ko sir walang ilaw yan. either umilaw o hindi iilaw lang yan. out of warranty na ba?

    Oil sensor problem. Nakuha sa change oil. Umiilaw na ngayon. Pinacheck ko yung gauge kanina sa may J6 along kaliraya street ok lahat ng leds. Hehe


    Out of warranty na siya. Til july lang warranty.
