Ok lang sa akin ang mantenance needed na batteries. kasi at least once or twice a month, I check my fluids. kasama na dito ang battery. I do this when I wash the car.

maintenance needed kasi ang stock na battery ng Avanza. GS ang brand

For me, for local use, this GS brand is not a good brand, dahil mga mga nagpalit na from the stock GS to Motolite.

Assuming na maintenance needed na motolite at maintenance free na motolite. Same lang naman ang performance. Baka nga after a year or 2 baka ang well maintained na maintenance needed na battery will perform better.

IMHO, Maintenance-free kasi I can forget it for a year or two... but just make sure you get a good quality battery - yung GS parang dami ng news na palpak - pinapareacall na yata ng DTI yan.

GS, I had a long long time bad experience with it, died just 4 months of use and never got a replacement. Sa galit ko pull-out ko na lang and then drop it on the floor and walk away.

I guess what it boils down to is what type of car owner you are. Kung masipag kang magkaka-kalikot under the hood, then go for a Low Manitenance battery. On the other hand, if you regularly "forget" (or don't normally bother to) look under the hood, then go for the Maintenace-free kind.

In my experience, I have had a lot of car batteries die on me because I often neglect to check their water levels. So, I now get Maintenance-free batteries. Even if technically, MF batteries supposedly wear out and die faster than LM batteries, if you don't regularly check the water levels then your LM battery will have a much shorter lifespan!

I've only tried "maintenance free" batteries. Probably bought around 7 already (several cars), all Motolite coz of the free delivery.

In my experience, namamatay na sya soon after warranty expires (2-6 months). Mostly automatic din mga kotse namin, and hassle lang kasi kung mamatay biglaan. Example one day ok sya, next day ayaw na mag start (hindi man lang hard start the day before para may warning).

I will try "Low Maintenance" for my next purchase. I want to compare kung mas tatagal ang properly maintained "low maintenance" vs "maintenance free".

Balik ako maintenance free after using the stock low maintenance batt and its lmb replacement for about 3.5 years. Hassle iyong mga acidic discharge nya.

Checking on its health is no problem for me since i try to clean the engine bay on a weekly basis anyway but its acid emissions is a chore to remove w/c gets old real fast

to be or not to be, that always confuses me!

sa motolite kasi kahit papaano pwede mo tanggalin lang sticker, kita na yun paglalagyan ng tubig. sa 3k kasi flat lang, sa ilalim bakat yung mga holes. thanks!
