nissan sentra 3ser 1996 model (problem)

hi po.

i have a nissan sentra 3ser 1996 model and my problem is kapag magmenor ako and magshift sa second gear biglang maninigas yung manibela nya then namamatay yung makina kahit na tumatakbo ako. pinacheck ko sya sa mechanic na talagang gumagawa nung kotse ko kaso wala naman syang makitang diperensya. hinigpitan nya lang yung fan belt. though nalessen na yung ganung nangyayari, may time pa din na ganun sya. what do u think kaya ang diperensya nya? help po. thanks.

Check mo iyong power steering fluid level mo baka low na at iyong power steering hose kung may leak.

Kaya naninigas yung manibela, its because the engine is dying so walang power na nasu-supply dun sa power steering pump. IMO, walang problema sa PS system.

Sakit talaga ng Series 3 yung low idling pag nagme-menor, until the engine eventually dies. I used to own one for almost 10 years, and I experienced exactly the same symptoms. Nung pinalinis ko yung IACV at throttle body, naayos naman. Have your mechanic clean it. Got the tip from the old Nissanbayan forums.
