I bought a new Panasonic maintenance free 2sm battery .. Is it already pre-charge or do I need to have it charge first before installing to the car ???

If its pre-charge, how many percent of charge does it have ??

It is already pre-charged and ready to use.
Start your engine upon installation and let the engine run for several minutes to full charged it.

Use a digital voltmeter to measure battery voltage. Refer to chart below.

Just use your car like you normally do. The alternator will charge the battery during your trip.

Yup. 14.7 and up will cause your battery to leak acid! 14.5 is the optimum level.

Guys, may date code ba ang Motolite battery? Is this "021712" the manufacturing date or not? Battery is Motolite Gold.

System voltage with engine running varies with different makes. Don't be surprised if your Toyota runs 15.1 volts with engine running. Most newer car voltage regulators are inside the pcm and are pulse width modulated. Maintenance free or recombinant batteries were designed not to reach full charge condition to reduce the water loss when they are hydrating during the charging process.

constant ba ang 15v? not fluctuating..paganun baka magacid ang battery mo.. 15v is overcharging already.. giving your battery a shorter life..=) ( 3 posts pa =\ )
