My battery is Motolite Gold Maintenance Free. When i had it charged sa shop, sabi ng mechanic ok pa raw ang battery kaya pinakargahan niya. Then I had it back to my van and it started pero medyo hirap na. The whole time, every start ko is hirap talaga. And i noticed na kapag iniiwan ko sya, it discharges itself. I have proven it coz i once had it recharged and left it na hindi nakakabit sa van, after 24 hours nung kinabit ko na sya, ayaw na magstart. I also borrowed someone else's battery and ok na starting ng van. Question ko po, pwede pa kaya ipaayos ang battery instead of buying a new one?

Better replace it with brand new.

ala pa kase kong budget for a new battery and i need to use the van. im just thinking that it would be a lot cheaper to repair than to replace.

you must know that ONE SHOULDN'T THROW AWAY OLD BATTERIES.
contrary to popular belief, lead-acid batteries are almost 100% recyclable. so even though they're chock-full of heavy metals, they're not dangerous to the environment if managed properly. usually the battery is "re-plated" parang ino-overhaul yung plates sa loob, tapos good as new na yun.
why don't you go to motolite accredited dealer? (like this big one along pasong tamo.. dun ako nagpa-RMA) they might have a record of that battery, if it's 15 months old or less they should replace it kahit wala ka nang resibo.
