just wipe it repeatedly with a clean cloth until the dirt is gone. lubricating it will just attract more dirt & grime

momoyster sa pajero mo ba yung antenna? ganyan nagsimula yung sa antenna ko di sumsagad hanggang isang araw di na talaga gumana last wk 99 model din. nabali yung white plastic sa loob ng antenna, pa adjust mo na or wag gamitin. i think meron napepwersa sa loob pag di sumasagad.

The black is grime...originally white grasa yun. Ang mapupuwersa ay yung white plastic (which is actually a gear). Dahil hindi iyun bumababa ng todo, the gear eventually ay mapupudpod. Thus puedeng maputol or di na gumana.

Have it cleaned and regreased sa mga marunong magkalas or iDIY mo...if you want to dare it.

there is a special grease for use on electrical/electronics. generic name is silicone grease electronic grade. just clean the antennae with a degreaser to get rid of the grime then apply a thin layaer of grease. do this every month and guaranteed di magka-problema yan. it all boils down to regular maintenance.
