Ngayon ko lang narinig yung "buhusan ng kumukulong tubig" ek-ek na yan...pero I doubt if it will do any good to the battery.

Para walang calcium deposits sa battery (sometimes pati yung metallic battery holders meron din), just apply grease of WD-40 to the terminals. Yung iba, lumang singko or diyes ang nilalagay, epektib din

what you can do, specially these days where maintenance free batteries are really popular is just to clean the terminals from the corrosion.

Just a thought, a new theory. May nakikita akong mga batteries(sa province) na pinapainitan sa araw (small batts we use on our regular toys and appliances). i dun know kung para mag charge yun or what. pero i think ganun purpose ng maiinit na tubig LOL

buong battery na papaliguan ng kumukulong h20 - false.

terminals - pwede kung walang WD40 or any anti corrosive agent.

Hey! I remember doing this when I was a little kid! (Yung mga AA, etc.) Hahaha. Sabi nga nung matatanda nakakahaba daw ng buhay. Pero from experience, makahaba man, 1 gamit lang. So not worth the inconvenience of taking out then returning, etc.

Thats why i ask our fellow tsikoteers if that is true.

also, hindi lng ung van binubuhusan nya pati yung isang auto.

Hehe! I just know washing the white powder from the terminals off, but not hot water. I wonder how much longer, in your tito's experience, the battery will last by doing so.
