they're actually quite shock resistant. but shorting them is a different matter, or abusing them to cause a short. or if the pack is such poorly designed that a short becomes inevitable during normal use, think hoverboards

explosion and fire hazard when fully charged then subjected to an impact force. it does not happen all the time but it is a known hazard. reminder lang naman to take the necessary precautions.
