I tried DIY lamp cleaning (plastic lens) and:
*I broke some clips while taking the lamp apart
*I used black silicone to put it back
*I cleaned the lens using rubbing compound and car wax

As for the outcome, I'm not really sure. A pic would be nice. Never had that kind of service done yet.
