help: engine sudden shut down

hi to all members.
patulong naman po mga bossing.

my ride is toyota crown 94 model. lately when i'm on the road, napansin ko lang po na biglang namamatay ang makina nya when i'm changing gear usually from 2nd to 3rd but it also happens from 1st to 2nd and even reversing. i pulled over and observe na kahit nung nka neutral nmamatay. when i start one click naman. usually nagkakganito kapag mainit ang weather condition sa labas (noontime) and i'm using the aircon. ok nman po ang temp gauge and battery. medyo erratic kasi, minsan ok minsan hindi. yung iba sinasabi sa idle timing daw ang problem and yung iba alternator daw. what seems to be the problem po kaya? need your expert advise.

I am thinking your engine's throttle body might be dirty and needs to be cleaned.

sir ghosthunter, any idea kung saan pwede ipa check. yung subok nyo na po and how much this would cost if ever?

I assume you are in SAN JUAN near Greenhills (and not in some other San Juan City in another part of the Philippines).

ganyan din po yung problema ko kahapon sa corolla 90 ko. ang symptoms naman ng sakin, pag ni-start ko sya at binuksan ko aircon, parang naghihingalo yung engine, tas mamamatay makina. Pag binomba mo rin yung accelerator parang may delay. Saka kahit po hindi ako nagshishift ng gear, namamatay ng kusa...

Dinala ko po sya sa mekaniko namin, tas me hinigpitan lang sya somewhere near the distributor cap, ayun okay na sya ulit.
