Hard starting. Need to wiggle keys to start

Mga sir and mam hingi sana ako advice. Nissan frontier 2004 model po ang sasakyan. May times na ayaw mag start. Need ko pa iwiggle yung susi a couple of times para magstart. ok naman po ang battery at tinry ko makipagpalit ng battery sa ibang kapitbahay and no problem sa kanila yung battery. Minsan naman 1 click lang start na agad yung sasakyan. Dinala ko minsan sa shell shop, we tried iduplicate yung problem para sana makita nung mga tao dun pero ayaw makisama nung sasakyan, kada pihit ng susi e 1 click start. Baka may maipayo po kayo kung san ako magstart para mapaayos yung sasakyan.salamat po

an intermittent! difficult to trace...
1. baka yung starter switch.. o yung small solenoid under the dash or maliit na kudradong solenoid in the engine bay. (a solenoid to activate another solenoid. heh heh.)
2. bring it to a starter shop. the problem might be underneath, with the starter assembly or starter solenoid.

these problems are usually easy to jagnose, simply by just listening to the clicks that can be heard, in a quiet garage.
kung gagananciahin, mas mahal pa yung labor kaysa piyesa.

in my experience, the big starter solenoid beside the starter motor, is the usual culprit.
alas, it is also the second most expensive part, the first being the starter.
and i always replace it, instead of fixing it. it is not fix-friendly.

try banawe. or pasay rotonda along northbound taft beside vergel st.
those guys "do it several times a day, and twice as much on saturdays".
they can smell the problem a shop away.
heh heh.

i have the same problem as yours but my car is a toyota gl corolla smallbody. Nung una pinalitan ko ng ignition switch nung mga unang araw ok one click nung nagtagal tagal na balik nanaman sa dati! next pinalitan ko yung relay sa ilalim ng steering column may nakapagsabi sakin ignition relay daw yun, but this time umabot sya ng mga 6 months bago bumalik yung dating problema, wiggle ng steering at susi, binabaligtad ko susi tanggal-kabit hanggang sa magstart, so now i'm subscribing to this thread baka sakali may makapag sabi kung ano talaga problema...

Update lang po mga sir, nung pina tignan ko last November, pinalitan ng gumagawa ung armature sa starter. (Not sure kung armature nga po ang tawag). Since then e madalang na pumalya yung pag start.may instances pa din na totally walang crank pero sobrang dalang na lang mangyari unlike before na everyday e hindi malaman kung magstart or hindi.

patulong po ako mga boss, may suzuki grand vitara ako, 2008 model.
kapag e twist ko sa ACC yung susi ko, yung headunit ay kaagad mag eject ng CD and hindi ko ma start yung engine ng vitara ko afterwards kapag naka try na yung stereo mag eject.
kapag binilisan ko to start the engine mag start ng vitara ko(without waiting for headunit to eject CD), then okay naman siya.


i was thinking na baka sa fuse ba to or starter pero hindi ako sure sa culprit. recently changed battery yesterday.

yes, wala pong cd, may something wrong din yung headunit ko, hindi ko alam kung bakit nag eject siya ng cd.

Meron small short circuit that's drawing current. try to remove the fuse for the headunit...

Another update po mga sir, apparently lumuluwag yung sa contact ng solenoid.hinigpitan and 2 months ng walang palya yung pagstart ng frontier
