have been having problems with my indicators lately. turned on yung sa battery and handbrake but was able to solve the battery indicator by changing the ic of my regulator. nawala din yung sa handbrake pero nung minsan na nalubak ako ay biglang nag on indicator ng handbrake pero dimmed.
check ko kapag naka hand brake ako and mas lighted yung indicator. haved it checked and sabi nung mekaniko sa sensor daw ng cap ng break fluid. nagtanong ako sa honda and sabi nila nasa P 1790.00 siya plus labor? may alam ba kau na mas mura ang parts at labor? thanks...
Surplus, but this is a hit or miss affair. Malamang na check mo na fluid level. Check mo din kung grounded yun contact sa handbrake (kung mayrun ang honda nito).
I dont know if you have two sensors on your car. One for the brake reservoir and one for the e-brake, often the one for the sensor level in the fluid container will fool you and make you think its the e-brake. So you better check yong fluid mo. What it might be doing is telling you its a little low on fluid. If its not that sensor and it is the one for the e-brake on it, more than likely the switch for the e-brake is going bad, so dont jump the gun right away, and that's what causes the light to come on. The switches are cheap, to replace, they only cost around (well, who knows, pero mura lang) but have it checked first, it may just be a little bit low on fluid and that will cause a light to also come on, good luck with it.
It would be much better help, if you include the model and makes of your vehicles.
