there are many reasons or causes for grounded electrical system.. the hard part is how to locate and isolate it, it entails a very tedious process unless you are familiar with your car's wirings...as such, i would suggest to seek professional aid .. my cent...

but if you can describe more or at least narrow down the possibilities (for us to make an intelligent diagnosis if not wild guess), it would be better. we will try to help you as much as we can... regards..

your parasitic drains come from etr(electronic tuned radio), pcm ( powertrain control module), the electronic clock, alarm systems or antitheft or theft deterrent systems, corrosion control and body control systems. the battery drains by itself worse in warmer temperatures. if your battery is drained in a short span of time, there is probably an aftermarket accessory you installed that has a high parasitic load. depending on your battery and your car, the most common is about 30 milliamps of parasitic load. try disconnecting the aftermarket loads first. the other loads that might stay on even with the ignition off are the courtesy lights in the engine comparment, in the trunk and maybe in the passenger compartment. you can easily isolate the cause, the cause not the result, by installing a digital multimeter between the negative battery cable and the negative battery post and setting it on milliamps. if there is a reading above 30 mA, pull the fuses one by one in the process of elimination which one of the fuses pulled dropped the parasitic drain. then, that branch you isolated is what you have to check.
