Battery indicator sa dashboard

Mga experts....umiilaw yung battery indicator sa dashboard. AT yung car.....

Pero nung check namin yung battery mismo doon sa sight glass nya eh color green pa...

so yung alternator na ang problem? Umiilaw ba talaga yung battery indicator sa dashboard kahit alternator ang sira?

^ Yup, I think thats the symptom of a faulty alternator. Maybe the current is not anymore stable or low thats why the indicator is blinking.

I reckon that you should'nt be traveling very far away with a faulty alternator.

Sorry..from my experience kasi..it was going on and off intermittently..kaya tuloy I wrote blinking sa earlier post..pero in the end..kapag sira na talaga..steady na yan..pati yung car steady na din.

yung sa amin kasi steady habang umaandar kami....pero malapit na kami sa bahay....

* SUV......Check engine light is emissions system problem. However, when the brake/batt. dash lights when the car is idling appears that this is a good indication that your alternator is dying (alt. belt tension sometimes) and not charging you batt with proper voltage. ECU diagnosis can helps you a lot.

yup, there's a problem with the charging system. original alternators are better but the one you have may still be fixed. have it opened and checked. carbon brushes may be worn out and they're fairly easy to replace. if it's the IC then it depends. have it checked first. it might just be a faulty connection or a belt that needs replacement/tightening.

Alternators can be fixed. Hopefully its just the carbon brushes or a loose belt. Mura lang ang carbon brush. Have it checked by a competent auto electrician.

Mahal ang new alternator. A friend of mine had his replaced at a Nissan dealership. Price was 18,000 pesos.

Kung alternator problem
lumusong ka ba sa baha before ,,baka inabot ng tubig ang alternator mo may nag short doon ,pwede nasira na din ang IC ..
gaya ng sabi ng ibang poster pa check mo din tension ng belt mo sa alternator

wala ba annoying noise sa alternator before may umilaw sa dash mo

so meron din palang tensioner bearing ang alternator.....thanks ah...kasi ang alam ko lang tensioner bearing eh yung kasabay ng timing belt na pinapalitan pag naka 80 thou kms...

tapos my countermeasure doon kung ano dapat gawin ba

lahat yan regarding sa alternator? I mean merong alternator belt, bearing? Ano pa parts napapalitan sa alternator?

Wala ito connection sa timing belt and tensioner bearing?

Hindi ko pa makita yung manual...hanapin ko pa....

Kinabahan ako kala ko sira na din timing belt and tensioner bearing.... yun pala yung belt sa alternator and yung bearing nya

Pasensya na kayo lahat....ang konti pa lang ng alam ko sa car....

if it's due for replacement, better to buy brand new, mas mahal pero sure ka naman...kesa sa surplus swertihan dyan minsan mas mapapamahal ka pa dahil makakadalawang palit ka..wait ano ba car mo? meron akong nakikita sa true value nagbebenta ng mga alternator...
