Check your alternator belt maybe experiencing amount of belt slip. Sometimes fuzzy connection in the HOT wire or BAD ground is the first place to look. Check all your wire connector from alternator to rectifier and solenoid and clean w/ non conductive electrical cleaner or WD 40 and remove all corrosion in the connector.

There so many possibilities about erratic Tach. This is your basic things to do. If this thing not work as I mention above let know and Ill give you step by step how to trouble shoot your Tach. Good luck.

eletronic ang most tachometer (it is a voltage reading base on "pulse")... so BAKA puede nga na related ang alternator problem mo.

Baka umabot sa IC ng alternator yung chemicals ng radiator coolant and could have caused the grounding or corrossion.

Ipalinis mo at ipacheck mo sa mga electrical technicians like Rey's, Cruven or Zee...or any trustworthy electrical technicians near you...this would probably cause you aroung P300-500 at least.
