Best way I think would be to invest in a voltmeter. If a battery can't crank out at least 13V of juice (correct me if I'm wrong), it's about time you get a new one. Batteries should usually provide 14.4V of push if I'm not mistaken.
Or you could simply buy a new one every two years or so. Heat is supposedly a natural battery-killer.
sir yuds, hate to do this to you pero may thread na about this...

kapag hirap kana magstart the usual day tapos mapapansin mo ayaw magstart bigla.
if moolah is not a problem to you, then you can do so every two years.
but for people like me who scrimp on food everyday, i usually wait for it to die down on me. there are symptoms which tell you of the impending death of your battery.
and yes, try to invest in a voltimeter.
Pa-test mo sa Motolite Service Center, pero dun ka bumili sa Suki mo Auto Supply mas mura dun kaunti, pwede mo pang i-benta luma mong baterya, doon mismo.
Some of the Honda Club Phils' audio gurus have a digital voltmeter that plugs into the 12V cigarette lighter/power socket in the dashboard. Voltage is more critical to these people than most because they power loud audio systems.
I don't know where you can get those (Banawe is your best bet I think) but they say it'll cost not more than PhP500. I'll ask.![]()
my batteries read 13.8 volts but still it wont start my car. I have to rush a mechanic to my place and when the series a battery, it does start. Well, i bought a new battery and will keep the old one and have it charge. next time i know what to do.
ano po ba maganda, maintenance free or ung magtutubig ka pa? Mas mahal po kz ung maintenance free so naisip ko kumuha ng low maintenance unless may great difference sila.
Ok lang po ba low maintenance or should i get maintenance free? pls. help
I just don't know kung totoo.
Appreciate ur insights about this.
Thanks po...
