ECU/IC capacitor replace..

ask ko lang saan kayo nagpapa gawa ng ECU/IC nio if i have busted/burnt capacitor san nio to pinapa replace? thanks. I have no idea in electrical thingy even checking a tester wouldnt. so ima sking help for suggestions. i live in QC, frisco. and near shop to be recommended? thanks

Somebody told me sa Raon Manila me shop na gumagawa nyan, at a much much cheaper price compared sa banaue... Kung saan duon I don't know..

sir. hindi nag bblink nor steady light. when my engine is on. smooth na siya walang CEL. My only problem is pag matagal, or malamig ang kotse it takes time mawala yung CEL.

and by the way I have my Capacitors replaced earlier by an electrician from SONY. and it cost me P350 only to replace two capacitors in my computer box. wow really cheap!! and still my problem still occurs hindi yun yung culprit.. still im having problems with the CEL (check engine light) taking some time before it turns off during when my engine is cold.

bro how sure ka na ECU ang problem mo at hindi parts ng sasakyan like sensor na minomonitor ng ECU kaya meron CEL na nakabukas.
nagpareading ka na ba ng CEL kung ano ang may problema?

yes nagpa daiagnose na ko wala naman nakita problema napaayos ko na din yung corroded na capacitor sa ECU ok nanaman. nagpalit na din ako ng sensor dun sa temp. meron pang isa gagawin namain later... ipapacheck ko ulit yung main relay. sana makita na yung problema. ill update you guys soon.

sir hindi po nag bblink ang CEL.....
during ignition meron pong CEL talaga my problem is matagal po siya mawala coz I can't start my car while CEL appears. but eventually it will turn off naman and wala naman akong CEL pag umaandar na kotse. so thas my only problem antagal nya pag malamig makina.

OBD II ba yang kotse mo? I have an OBD II scanner to read CEL and I live just near Munoz. OBD II has the connected usually under the driver dashboard (honda civic near the center, vios is in front of the drivers seat)

on capacitors, any repair shop can do it...don't notice one on roosevelt/frisco though. depends also on the function of the capacitor. it's just a minor soldering job I can even do it but buy the part yourself (in Munoz near Mercury there are electronics shops)

in raon, one of my favorite haunts, there are also many repair shops (i'm an ECE and electronics used to be my hobby)

sa civic 96 vti, ganyan din yata, pag ignition "on" lahat ng ilaw sa dashboard mag"on" including orange CEL , then after about 5 secs mamamatay na ang CEL , this time doon ko lang start ang makina kasi doon lang natapos ang system power up test,then pagka nakaidle na ang makina dapat remain "off" ang CEL , kung ganito ang situation normal lang ito, but kung iilaw ang CEL then doon merong trouble. parang ganito lang ang nangyayari sa iyo at normal lang ito,

wala naman nakitang problema.. now hindi na talaga matangal yung CEL nung ginalaw ng mekaniko.. so problema ko naka stock yung kotse dun... they say it might be main relay or my comnputer box na talaga. wala naman lost and corroded capacitors sa ecu ko naayos na nga pero ganun pa din.. ayaw na matangal ng CEL on second click na supposedly dapat mawala in just 5 -8 seconds lalong nagkaron ng problema.

sir near munoz ka ba?? yung oto ko kasi.. nasa along del monte ave after police station 2. naka stock kotse kasi ayaw mag start dahil ayaw na mawala nung CEL, meron dun mechanic shop yung red na esi akin yun. hindi ko alam if OBD II yung kotse ko. baka sir matulungan nyo ko? pm na lang po tayo mag usap for price... wala din kasing gamit yung mechanic shop na pinag dalan ko mga polpol. hehe.

sir hindi normal yung problema ko... problem ko matagal mawala yung CEL on second click hindi ko naman po sinabi na may CEL ako when engine starts... super delayed lang talaga mawala ng CEL ko. pero tanga tanga na mekaniko pinag dalan ko ginalaw lahat at ngayon ayaw na mawala ng CEL on second click. sigh

oh, OBD I...sorry can't help you there.

the CEL lights up during initial ECU boot up and some sort of system self-diagnostics...

but your description of during cold weather doesn't fit your IC/ECU theory that it's bad. some sensors/switch/relay may be getting moist on cold, rainy days thus the intermittent problem. capacitors are designed to tolerate temperatures. how about looking at places that get wet/moist on rainy days?

changed sparkplugs and CTS (coolant temperature sensor): 1.4k
labor :2.5k
Mechanic: G6 banawe.

masakit sa bulsa pero ok na din may sira na din kasi computer box ko kaya ok na din ganda ng takbo.
