If this is the same as the voltage regulator, it's behind the alternator opposite side ng belts. A small stub that has two spring loaded carbon brushes. If the brushes or springs are worn out the battery light might flicker or turn on depending on the electronics of the car.
nope di po yun--yung somewhat overpriced na binebentang accessory na kinakabit in parallel to the battery terminals
wow, can a stable electricity makes noticable engine response and better emmision?
TPS and EFI?
eto yun gawa ni sir dexter
ganda ng pagkagawa nya. dinoble nya yun dami ng capacitors
will post mine next time. I just learned capacitors reduces sudden voltage spikes and drops. Electrolytic (batterylike) capacitors are for common used for DC circuits since then have polarities and mylars(gumlike) capacitors are for Ac circuits but they can work together.
why DIY, voltage stabilizer is already available in the market...
i have one installed, RAIZIN ang brand with grounding cables to tell you honestly walang kwenta...
absolutely rubbish!!!

chua > kasi titipid, tsaka pagpractisan po ko ng electronic skills ko ulit...
pag di nag-work, well, ok lang mura lang naman ang capacitors than buying a buo...
ang performance gains nyan is not on the engine but more on the on-board electronics/electricas naman--think of it as having an AVR/UPS w/ surge protector on your PC...
This is just an opinion.... The battery does a very good job of stablizing the voltage. So if you place a capacitor bank in parallel to it, the capacitor back is rendundant. Better place the capacitor bank across the load with a short-as-possible wires. This capacitor bank will tend to minimize the resistance (hence voltage drop) of the wires from the battery to the load.
Electrolytic capacitors are very good in filtering low frequency variations. But for high frequency noise, it is not so good. Ceramic capacitors are good for high frequency noise but due to it's low capacitance is bad at low frequency noise. So it is best to parallel this two types of capacitors.
ill take this credit to one of our fellow fcp.

pwede ka bumili nito sa deeco or alexan....
just a question
pwede bang isang cap nalang na malaki ang farad? like those 60k uF caps and above?
parallel lang ba talaga kahit anong order ng caps basta parallel lang lahat tama ba?
Buhay pa ba to? Sana may nagbebenta ng DIY'ed volt stab. This is good for old together with a grouding kit. Some said that these 2 things can help your car stablelize in terms of electricity.
