    magandang hapon mga tsikot members.
    newbie lang po at may urgent inquiry tungkol sa nissan serena (subic) ko na medyo maraming sakit.
    would like to ask for information on shops na specialists (on nissan serena subic) sa mga sumusunod:
    aircon-- hindi lumalamig kung trafik
    electrical-- mabilis ma discharge ang battery
    body-- may scratch at dent dahil nabangga ko ang gilid ng serena habang papasok ng gate.

    sa suking body shop mo na yan pabanat, kung maliit lang pwede masilya, pero kung malaki, papapukpok mo yan....

    i just located the thread tungkol k mang mario, malamang pumunta ako sa kanya next weekend.
    sa may makati/mandaluyong area ako, pero im interested dun sa alternator repair that you mentioned. will pm you.

    aircon-- hindi lumalamig kung trafik...

    check muna for leaks, have the freon level checked weekly to see if you have leaks...

    if freon level is still the same...

    check the compressor belt if it's tight.
    check the aircon condenser/aircon radiator is having sufficient cooling.
    see if your condenser is functioning normal (ask experts)
    see if the fan is powerful enough to cool the condenser.
    hook another fan to the condenser if possible...

    compressor should be the last thing to be fixed or replaced since it costs much... even with a bit loosy compressor, you can still improve cooling by help cooling the condensers to the max...

    electrical-- mabilis ma discharge ang battery.

    check if it's charging, try turning the engine on > then remove the battery while engine is still running > use amper meter on the connecting terminal > rev the engine up to 2500 rpm and see if the amp meter indicate that it is charging...

    amp meter is cheap... if it isn't charging, baka may problema ka nga sa alternator...

    body-- may scratch at dent dahil nabangga ko ang gilid ng serena habang papasok ng gate.

    be more careful nextime?

    ask ko lang yung serena po nyu ba yung madaya-->may nguso (for immediate fillers like ATF/water,wahsers at spare donut tire) nga pero under the seat ang makina.. CD20T(2.0 turbo diesel) po ba?matic?

    yes, yung nga mismo sir. 2.0 turbo diesel matic. 1996 model ata ito, yung serena fx rio. common problem ba yung mga nabanggit ko sa ganitong serena? btw salamat dun sa directions re fargo. thanks

    sir rion, maraming salamat sa advice.

    yung aircon, naalala ko pinalitan dati (july2006) yung eveporator, pero natatalo pa rin ng init ang lamig, tsk tsk. ok naman daw ang freon level last time i checked, but i wil have the other items you mentioned checked soon. salamat!

    yung battery, i have tried removing it para icheck kung mamatay, hindi naman namatay. ang sabi nung tumingin dati baka raw mahina ang pagcharge ng alternator kaya nadidiskarga ang baterya, so il have this checked as well soon.

    yung bangga, tama ka sir, kasalanan ko lang kung bakit nangyari yun. ngayon kelangan tuloy gumastos para ipagawa, hehe.

    they say common prob is yung overheating. yan sana ang kukunin ko over sa liteace ko, pero wala kong makitang magandang specimen w/ full-time 4wd at dual sunroof at saka,kinakabahan ako,e....sa spares, kaya liteace ko nakuha ko..

    may nakita akong kinokonvert na serena noon to manual tranny...sa may shop sa may edsa (before)katabi ni akram trading(surplus japan seller) kung galing ka ng sm north, left side siya, tapat ng u-turn slot ang chevy-north edsa at arkam,kaya, u-turn ka sa u-turn slot after munoz balik ka, may shop dun. mahal nga lang manigil dun(kasi nakapag-emergency repair ako dun,e) pero ok din mostly imported na sasakyan ang mga binabanatan nila... basta pagka-u-turn mo sa u-turn slot lampas sa munoz, balik ka to SM north, right side siya before arkam siya..ask mo dun din kung gusto mo mag manual tranny.

    PS, sa bilihan ng batterya pwede nila macheck kung di maganda ang karga.. dapat atleast 13.1-14.1v yan. pag full(lights a/c wipers stereo), mga 12.3-12.5v pag nag 11.9v->pa baba mahina na ang charging ng alternator..

    oks, salamat alwayz_yummy!
    naalala ko nagoverheat na rin ako non, pagkalampas na pagkalampas nang kennon road nung inakyat ko sa baguio yung serena. pero dito sa city driving hindi pa naman nagooverheat.
    nung bumili ako ng bagong battery, napansin nila na medyo mahina daw ang karga sa battery terminal, pero kapag nirerebolusyon umaakyat naman daw.
    ps, nacontact ko na rin si mr go ng fargo, sabi ko baka dumaan ako sa kanila by wednesday, pero tatawag muna ako kung tuloy.

    mas mahalaga na on idle na dapat 12.5(full load)-13.9-14.1(no load) * idle.. pag sa mga owner at pampasaher jeep pwede na yun, pero sa ating mga ride, lalo na babad sa trapik at may a/c, its a big no-no..

    pag nirecomend ka nila na palitan ang alternator, request mo yung 90AH sulit na sulit yun.. kung magkakasya ang 110AH why not.

    ang ruling dun parang trade mo na ang old alternator/parts mo, kaya ka nakamura kahit paano.(katulad ko nag pa stator winding, ginawa, hanap ng bago-bago pa, pinalitan stator ng alternator ko, keep na nila ung stator ko, gagawin na nila yun.. ikaw, uwi na...
