For a trial, Yuasa ang binili namin para sa Honda iDSi 03 AT. Ok pa naman sya after 11 months. Observe ko pa kung hanggang kailan abutin nito..

My Outlast I purchased last Feb 2012, went kaput this morning
Makes it 23 months useful. I think it's fairly acceptable. And it is cheaper than Motolite.
i'm using LM Electron 2SM. 2yrs and 2 months na and ok pa rin, bought it for 1,600 including trade in. prior to that, same bat din gamit ko, 2yrs and 7months kong nagamit and pinalitan ko for peace of mind lang. No issues and working siya during the trade. hindi ko kasi alam gaano na talaga katagal since yun an yung batterry nung car nung nabili ko. check na lang ng tubig once in a while pag nag lilinis ng engine bay. sulit na sulit.
kapapalit ko din lamang 2 days ago ng champion 3sm low maintenance pamalit sa over 2 years na 3 sm motolite gold....
naubusan ng electrolyte yung isang cell ng motolite gold mf kaya after isang araw lang na hindi mapaandar e dedbol agad. diko naman magawang icheck noon ang fluid level dahil mavovoid ang warranty kung sakali kaya minabuti kong mag low maintenance for a change naman after using 2 motolite gold for 5 years.
Outlast ang hinahanap ko kaso wala available sa lugar namin. ang bili ko sa champion lm 3sm eh 3.2k less P400 trade-in. 1 year warranty.
... did some math... price / months warranty.. champion appeared to be the better buy..
i bought a Global brand battery about a week ago for 4k with 18months waranty.. i traded in my old battery for 500.. it a made in Korea battery..
i do hope so na better buy nga...pero hindi pa rin maalis sa isipan ko ang katagang "you get what you pay for".
i'm thinking of getting a low maintenance battery for my fd when my maintenance free batt conks out in a few months time. since i spend a lot of time under the hood anyway (and i grew-up dealing w/ this kind of battery), i don't think it's going to be a hassle for me to check on the fluid level of the batt from time to time. heck, i'm doing that right now w/ the oem battery of our monty anyway
my choice of maintenance-free versus low-maintenance or full-maintenance battery, are the absence of maintenance and the lack of the acid's effect on the overlying paintjob..
[QUOTE=Retz;2319919]Amaron battery or 3k
Amaron can be found in new cars, Hyundai i10, EON, Suzuki Celerio. OEM.
I do not find 3K in any new cars here in the Philippines.
I go for AMARON.
try electron. tumagal din sa akin ng 2 years before it died out. i got it for 2K++ lang hehe
changed my battery to Amaron Hi-life. Hope it goes well with my fieldmaster.![]()
