de tubig(2sm) yung OEM ng pickup ko, alaga ko sa check/dagdag ng distilled water.
on it's 3rd year nakaranas ako minsan ng hesitation to crank na wala naman dati. my volt meter reads 12.1v then drops to 11.x when i turn the key to ignition. pinalitan ko na agad at baka abutin pa ako sa daan.

April 15th, 2017 11:43 AM #69ok naman yon.
"no maintenance" and "low maintenance" are advertising gimmicks.
in truth, one has to check his electrolyte level from time to time, if one is to eke out every erg of energy from the battery.
tamad lang tayong consumer, and the manufacturer knows it.
heh heh.

April 15th, 2017 12:02 PM #70There is some truth to what you say but with No-Maintenance you do not check the electrolyte while it is still under warranty. Doing so would void it. With Low Maintenance they have shorter warranty for a reason, manufacturers know the rate of failure past that period of warranty. But yes checking electrolyte levels helps extend life but that is a hit or miss thing.
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
