Getting ready to replace the OEM Motolite as well. This thing is taking longer to die than usual (18 months old, as of this writing). I've already replaced the battery hold-down posts in preparation.

Any reason why you also replaced the hold-down bracket? The 3SM is about the same, if not, slightly smaller in width than the DIN.

Also, drop the link on the battery tray.

The stock hooks are short. Mura lang naman yung set ng new battery tie down with longer hooks.

Pwede rin i DIY siguro using motorcycle brake rods.

Mas gusto ko lang na cleaner look, yung stock tie down if fitted sa 3SM parang mukha na masyadong mataas.
