encounter ko when Im travelling at night, A/C ON, Headligh ON, Stereo ON, when I turn left or right to SW ON the flasher the Stereo SW to OFF. parang mahina ang kuryente pag Turn OFF the Flasher ok naman. ano kaya ang problema

check your battery water level and its terminals. that happened to me over the weekend. turns out low na yung tubig ko sa battery.
here's a series of test...with a multimeter (voltage meter)
engine off... check voltage of batt... that should be around 13V+
start engine. check voltage reading at idle. it should be around 13.8V.. anything less than 13V (12V or less.. kulang charge ng battery mo)... anything more than 13.8 IC/regulator ng alternator mo is busted
if at this point nasa 13.8 range ka pa.. start turning on your accessories one by one... you should see a drop in voltage.. but once everything is running.. you shouldnt drop below 12.8V (the lowest should be 12.2V at idle)
rev your car with accessories on.. the voltage should climb back to around 13.5V... if it doesnt.. alternator is dead... if it goes over.. check IC/regulator ng alternator
galing nang post mo Hboy!
tanong ko lang kung gaano kalakas ang current nang typical car batt?
diba depende rin sa vehicle yung reading?Originally Posted by HBOY

i think unless you have a truck with you.. the reading should be within the range of 13.5V-14V.... yung mga trucks ata kasi 24V ang output eh...
as for the alternator..we are reading the output of your batt and not the alternator... different alternators have different ratings.. 45AMPS, 55AMPS, 60, 70, 80, 110.. etc.. but those are amp readings.. they still put out about 13.8V (as regulated by the IC or regulator at the back of your alternator)...
