    para mo na din tinanong bakit nasisira ang computer, tv, stereo, light bulb, electric fan, cell phone, remote control....

    as far as i know loose connection from the battery terminal is one of the reason kung bakit nasisira ang ic specially if using a quick release battery terminal.

    does overcurrent(installing bigger batteries,prolonged running on dual batteries in parallel), over voltage(dual batteries on serial), and incorrect terminal could contribute sa pagsira ng alternator IC?

    Sakin nasira dahil maluwag pala ang belt. The belt also drives the alternator cooling blades. Kaya ayun, sunog ang IC.

    yung sa akon

    sabi sira nga daw IC.

    pumapalo ng 15+ pag idle.

    kung ic palitan mga 1.3 k daw.

    kung surplus na alternator 2k daw.

    so nag palit na lang ako ng alternator. hopefully tumagal naman itong surplus.

    Sa Kia din yung nasira sa akin. Palit lang ng IC dapat. Kaso pati rotor at stator nasira na pala.

    Loose/corroded wiring and direct spraying during engine wash could also damage it.

    worst thing you can do is start your engine and remove your battery... sira IC mo nyan.. kaya yung mga nagpapaandar ng kotse with a spare battery.. tapos tatanggalin tapos illilipat batt.. patay!... i learned that the hard way.. did it twice.. ayun.. palit twice...

    a loose connection can also cause it to fail.
