It's actually very hard to know when your battery is going to die...
may it be maintenance-free or not.

I hope this helps...

For me, between 18 to 20 months, palit na kahit okay pa....

speaking of waiting to die or wait for some signs, i just replaced my XTO's motolite excel with 2sm outlast diesel 24 months last saturday (4,000 with trade in). the white motolite excel served me well for the past 7 years and 4 months, finally showed signs of weakness during start up kaya wala nang check check palit agad.

very sulit, no time to get bosch at benavidez, mla next time na lang anyway bosch costs 3,600 but only with 12 mos warranty.

ang napansin ko thru years of having a car... bigla na lang mapansin mo parang mahina yung lights..and 'hang' siya pag start parang nag isip pa and usually in the morning. if you experience na parang d na one click, palit na agad.

to prolong life ng battery ginagawa ko lang is to check the water kung kulang add lang.. basta above the plates.

question ko anong mas maganda add na water..yung battery solution or distilled water like wilkins.. puede ba mineral water lang?

    what do you think?

    thanks

I use Shell's Battery water, which is "100% Distilled Water".

i have now motolite excel (green) na almost 1 year old narin and titingnan ko kung lalagpas ng 2 years.

Battery replacement - do you wait until it does not work?
