Mga sir, need some advise how to properly maintain a car battery esp kung laging nakapark ang auto straight from direct sunlight?

the heat of the sun acting upon the car is less hot than the engine compartment heat. now, you do the rest of the homework. hotter than ambient temperature which is the engine is normal to the design of the car. sure there are cars with the battery in the trunk(e.g. bmw) and there are some under the floor panel behind the driver, not because of heat but because of space. the cold is more harsh to the battery specially if your battery's electrolyte specific battery is lower than 1.25 or the battery is less acidic and the electrolyte is bound to freeze resulting in a cracked battery case

This is a very lame explanation by the electrician. A relatively new and fully charged battery should last several days ( up several weeks ) even under extreme conditions. My battery which is an oriental low maintenance is turning 4 years this july , never had problems. I'm also parking under direct sunlight mon-fri in the office same as you. It could be that your battery is starting to die or some issues with your electrical wiring where your battery is being discharged.

My advise is to have your battery checked. Libre yan sa mga battery shops. Best do it while it is still under warranty.

    Thanks

basta within warranty period dapat palitan nila yan. recharging is the just the same a your alternator charging your battery. you can have your battery checked sa mga suking battery shops . libre naman yan. they can check if your battery is the problem or your charging system. ilang buwan na ba battery ? yung napapaos na busina, buhay ba yung engine or not. if buhay yung makina, baka may problema na alternator.

that way, malaman agad na hindi lang due to sun and naging basis or cause ng problem.... another cent...

Sir, tama ba ang mga nabasa kong posts dito na it takes 1 month or more ang replacement pag binalik sa shop? Mejo may katagalan din po pala kung ganun at 1 month hinde magagamit ang auto, kaya Im planning to just recharge my battery instead na dalhin sa binilihan kong shop sa paranaque na may kalayuan pa sa place ko. Im from bulacan po, dun kasi sa area na un bumigay ang old battery ko last year nung naghatid ako sa airport kaya no choice but to buy a new one around p'que.

Battery is 10 mos old.
