bakit kung mainit at naka AIRCON ako tapos biglang namatay yung makina, tapos e start mo ayaw ng ma-start at mahina ang rotate ng starter. pero kung malamig naman yung makina isang beses start lang naman.
kung naka A/C hindi kaya nag cha-charge yung battery. ur advise pls.

March 19th, 2004 11:56 AM #3When that happened to me, it turned out to be a grounded compressor (magnetic) coil that was at fault.
The coil itself cost around Php 500.00-800.00 (sorry, I can't remember exactly). I paid the same amount for labor and materials.
Try disconnecting the battery with the engine running. If it dies, you can suspect the alternator.
You can check the battery by installing it in a different vehicle.

March 20th, 2004 02:48 AM #5acenie: you can easily check the alternator and the battery, Just bring it to any electrical shop( o motolite retail shops) and they will do it for free. Sabihin mo lang you are looking into buying a new battery. Kung ok yung dalawa consider oteps suggestion. Kapag grounded kasi yung coil parang load yun sa battery so na dra-drain (the circuit is completed from + to - thus draining the battery). HTH!
