hi mga sir newbie lng po ako dito ask ko lng po nasira po un alternator ng kotse ko and ang sbi ic regulator daw un sira..san po ba nkkbili ? and ok lng po ba pag surpplus un nabili ko..add ko lng po bigla ng overheat un kotse ko and un indicator sa panel hinde na ng off..

some of the well-stocked alternator repair shops might have the IC you need.. ask around.
there's this shop along pedro gil, between benitez st and san marcelino.. near paco market.
just the IC versus entire surplus alternator... ? ask for price first, then decide.

Mga sir sbi po kase ng electrician na tumingin mganda pa raw un loob ng alternator ko..ang inaalala ko po ay kung maga
ging mganda prin un performance pag ang pinalitan ko lng eh un IC.

that is why some will suggest to get an entire alternator replacement na lang..
but if you ask me, i think replacing the IC alone (kung yun nga ang problema) will restore your alternator just fine.
for all we know, that surplus alternator came from someone just like you, and the repairman just replaced the IC, too..
