Alternator/Battery Query

How will i know kung alternator pa ang nagsusupply ng power sa Sound System ko or kumukuha na siya from the battery? Pwede ba malaman ito using ordinary/simple tools/method? :!:

ang alam ko Leon usually straight sa battery kasi ang alt ang nagpapatakbo sa
power supply pero ang battery ang nag susupply . Na drain ba ang battery mo ? Ano
system mo at baka kakailanganin mo ng caps and upgraded battery .

Di naman na drain battery ko. Was just wondering, kse i've read that the alternator is the one supplying the power once the engine is turned on and that the only time the system will get power from the battery is if the alternator can no longer handle the load.

after mag start ng engine, alternator na ang electrical supply. pero syempre ang accessories ay nakakabit sa battery kaya dumadaan pa rin sa battery. pag hindi enough ang charging ng alternator habang naka on ang electrical accessories, sa battery na sila kumukuha, which causes the eventual power drainage. some upgrade the alternator para maka accomodate ng accessories like audio/video system.

usually.....all your sound system is hooked up sa battery....once you start your engine......the alternator charges your battery.....now.....since you are using up your battery....your alternator will not stop charging the battery.....acting like the power source you are using is the alternator.....for better performance.....upgrade you allternator to a higher rate.....like ranging from 90 to 120 ampereHour rating so that it will take the alternator a short time to charge your battery if you cannot afford to buy those costly 1 farrad Capacitors.......

Paano yung FIAMM ko may wire naka rekta sa battery... pag busina ba ako sa battery malakas ang drain ng power? :|

dapat dumaan muna sa relay yung busina mo and not directly sa battery.....

or baka kelangan ko lang palitan battery ko?
kasi nangyayari sa akin ngayon... pag nilalakasan ko yung audio ko.. parang na d drain ung power sa lights ko sa loob ng car...

first thing to do......check your battery.....is it 1sm or 2sm......if 1sm siya....palit ka ng 2sm kung kasya sa battery cage mo.......second......once applied yung unang step.....try changing your alternator.....risky ang rewinding.....head for a nearest alternator repair shop.....fish for some second hand alternators that are still in good condition and are of higher power rating than your old alternator......the reason why your lights fade everytime your speakers deliver a punch is......that there is not aenough electronic current (DC) running your car........if you apply both of these steps.....this will definitely solve your problem.....:D

ok na yun.....just be sure not to honk so long.....it will drain your battery....or better yet.....palit ka na din ng battery......yung 2sm na battery ang ikarga mo....:D

A similar case happened to me also, but in my case, pag bumubusina ako, humihina yung backlight nung gauges, pati yung radyo ko papatay-patay. What I really needed back then was a battery change. I was able to confirm this kasi a few weeks later, di na nagstart oto ko :shock: Warning sign na pala yung paghina :!:

that is really a sign of a weak battery......meaning that the alternator is not charging it full....you see...it works like this.......your alternator charges your battery.....hence.....to prolong your battery life.....you need a good alternator to supply the battery in order for it to be charged all the time by 100 percent......

I had all of these problems before......the solution.....I bought a 2sm calcium battery maintenance free......replaced my stock alternator....(which was giving me a mesely 60 ampere rating).......with a higher rating alternator........(120 amperes).....and kapoooooof! problem solved.........:D
