    When the engine is on, I will check the charging battery and it is on 13.7 volts, but when I switched on the aircon, the voltage goes down to 12.6volts and stays there. What do you think could be the problem? Could it be the alternator, belt or wiring problem?


    The battery is just 8 months old...

    what vehicle, po?
    what happens when you turn on the aircon, then step on the gas? does the voltage go up?

    Starex '98, when the engine is idle, meaning it is ON, the voltage is at 13.7 volts, but
    when i turn on the aircon or step on the gas, the voltage goes to 12.6...

    When I turn-off the aircon, the voltage will slowly go back to 13.7 volts...
