yup kaya nga dapat lagi nyung i-check if the alternator still operates from 12.1-14.5V dun lang...
pag humigit sa 14.5V sira na yung IC regulator, pag di kumarga, either yung stator or rotor ng alternator needs rewiring na...
mas ok kung pa-rewire nyu ang old alternator nyu, kasi mas mura, and its like buying brand-new.. pag gusto nyu ng masmalaki, get a surplus, max of 90AH para di ka magkaproblema sa stock wiring.
akin, hehehe, at full load-12.5V, minimal load-14V hehehe...90ah min, 120AH max...walang bitin, nakalimutan ko yung foglight na buhay for 1 day, na full discharge, kinadyot, tumakbo, mga 30 mins drive lang back to normal na...as if walang nangyari hehe

mga sirs related po ba ang engine heat sa alternator.napansin ko kasi after repair/rewinding the alt. bumaba temp. gauge.before almost 1/2 siya w/ acon on, may thermostat at running at high noon, ngayon the max. is 1/3.pasensya na a newbie question. btw the alt is 50A.

baka kasi malamig lang ngayon... and/or noon baka alternator mo ay dragging the engine

malas talaga, battery is new(2mos.) pa and its boiling acid leak thru the one side of the engine bay,try another batt. nag leak parin.pina check ko overcharging daw alternator sa battery,bagong rewind yun but we did not replace the IC,so IC ang palitan.is it worth to replace the IC or just buy a surplus alt? magkano ba IC?
