    A 1930's car? Really?

    Either...

you're from the Greatest Generation, which would be awesome,

or your family collects vintage cars, which would also be awesome,

    or...

    haha!

sorry to disappoint you bro but that vintage benz is actually owned by the dahilayan forest park in bukidnon

i was just amazed of its relatively decent state when i saw it. i'm pretty sure it's no longer running though judging by the jerry-rigged stilts it's standing on.

Ah, okay. Thanks for posting that fascinating photo.

What's the story behind that car? How did it survive WW2? Why didn't the Japanese soldiers confiscate it?

That old car might not be a Mercedes-Benz. The Benz-like grille mesh may not be original and the radiator does not fit properly.

That car could be a 1928 Dodge.

The shape of the fenders, with the line on top, looks the same as the car in this video.

I remember my father used to have an Ford Granada 2.8V6 in the late 80s. Can't remember the exact model year. But its the Mk2 according to Wikipedia, so early to mid 80s. Had hardly any recollection of it, only that it was big, thirsty, and often had aircon problems. 😂 In the early 90s it was replaced by a 1989 B12 Sentra. Yay for cool aircon and power windows!
