It's still being used for farm duty (engines converted to Nissan diesels), tough heavy duty rigs, mapapahiya mga modern 4x4's ngayon. hehe

For as long as I could remember, it was the Mitsubishi Galant, my dad's first car ever, we both loved that car so much kasi it had that 80s feel look to it and retro. My brother once crashed the car, but due to its body frame work, minimal damage lang talaga, oh and it did a barrel roll on the freeway. No worries, my brother's okay.

In grade school? I was here in Nevada during my elementary years. I rode a school bus to school. I recall my dad having both a V8 Dodge and a Ford.

I wasn't happy with either one. The Dodge overheated and stalled right in front of the Golden Nugget casino in Las Vegas. The Ford broke down right after the toll entrance to the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. Car maintenance wasn't one of my dad's stronger traits. ;)

    We had the following:

    1) '78 Crown
    2) 123 body Benz
    3) '78 Gemini
    4) '89 Lancer singkit (which would later be my first car)
    5) '91 Corolla XL small body (which was my second car after the Singkit, and the last "pawis" steering car I drove)

    good for you!
so your family is the one supplying the rest of the world with stamped body parts...?

the M-38 we had, had masilya an inch think in some places. i believed that if we scratched deep enough, we would see the military olive green underneath.
but it drove us to school, and didn't melt under strong rain, so i can't complain too much.
    heh heh.

I guess I would not forget the most odd vehicle we had when I was young. My dad was issued a company car in the form of a Toyota Crown station wagon. It had a 2.8L inline-6 gas engine and it was quite fast compared to other cars back then. However, our neighbors thought we had a hearse on our garage.

Pero during 1995 bago binenta ng dad ko. So probably nasa 1985-1995 model yun. It may be older than that, not sure.

Pero Sedan sya na Ford kulay yellow, na box type medyo itsura.
