Yeah, I remember this and I still remember Michael Knight's (David Hasselhoff's) quip when he 1st got behind the wheel of the car: "What is this? Darth Vader's bathtub?"

That Firebird TransAm has been replaced by a Shelby Mustang GT500. Have I become jaded or are the new plot lines more inane?

Yup, this got me hooked into cars. Sobrang cool yung car na pontiac trans am. Noong 1983, my dad bought a telstar pa nga and I liked looking at the gauges because it was all digital and reminded me so much of KITT.

What I can recall about the series:
1. KITT was voiced by William Daniels. His name is not in the credits because that was his condition so people will think that KITT really had a personality.
2. The mechanic's name was Bonnie Barsaw played by Patricia Mcpherson
3. FLAG was the name of the organization which stands for Foundation for Law and Government
4. The person running FLAG operation was Devon Miles played by the late Edward Mulhare
5. David Hasselhoff almost didn't make it during the auditioning. He was able to nail it in his 2nd attempt of the take. The first pick was Don Johnson of Miami Vice.
6. KITT stands for Knight Industries Two Thousand.
7. KITT's primary function is the preservation of human life.
8. KITT was destroyed 4 times.
9. KITT transforms into a convertible (4th season) and had an upgrade during the same period which boost his speed up 40 percent using the super pursuit mode or SPM.
10. KITT's speed was estimated to have exceeded 300 miles per hour.
11. During turbo boost, KITT can jump any obstacle up to 50 feet.
12. KITT has an evil twin named KARR which stands for Knight Automated Roving Robot. This was the first protoype and its primary function is self preservation.
13. Wilton Knight is the owner of FLAG and the creator of KITT.
14. Wilton's evil son is Garth Knight.
15. Garth Knight wanted to destroy KITT and Michael Knight through his semi which he named Goliath.
