Highly suggest you have the whole body checked. Impact forces can transfer to another part of the body because new cars are designed to do that, especially smaller ones that do not have a lot of crumple zones. Have it done professionally and not just any shop.
Hindi mag deploy ang airbags because the impact magnitude was not severe enough along the length of the car (it was more like a transverse/oblique impact) so the percent of it hitting the airbag sensors did not register a high enough force to trigger the airbags.
Yes tama ka have the engine and transmission checked. On the Yaris it's a transverse engine so tight yung clearance niya to the body frame rails. If the frame moved, the engine would have had incurred some damage.
