    May bagong Chinese car company na Philippines and its called Hivan at based sa Jiangsu Joylong A9/HKL6540 Minibus(another Hiace clone na based sa newer Hiace):

    This one looks promising. Although the only engine worth having is the "DK4" "CRDi" unit. They don't have specs for both the 4G69 and the "DK4" engine. Is the DK4 mentioned there just the good old 4JB1 in disguise? I'm gonna be pissed if that DK4 turns out to be a 2.8L engine with 92hp and 202Nm of torque. But then again... could it be that they pirated Toyota's 2KD-FTV engine along with the body?

    Yung DK4 CRDI engine ng Hivan/Jiangsu Joylong A9 Van ay based sa 2KD Diesel engine ng Toyota. Seems like that van is a licensed clone..Marami nang Hiace clones na ganyan sa China like yung sa Kinglong/Higer,Chery at Jinbei(licensed clone to).

    Ah... Haha! yung KD ginawang DK... But if they're really gonna sell it here, they'd better prepare the low roof variant as well.

    aha! sabi na nga ba dito ko din sa tsikot makikita info nito. i saw one displayed or parked (whichever the case maybe) in front of one of the chinese truck dealers along edsa-balintawak area.

    that would be in front of the GW showroom. HiVan priced at P1.399M for the 16-seater model. SM Holdings already acquired three of these HiVans. Would have gotten more if there was still stock. Distributor still waiting for delivery of next batch.

    1.4 Million Pesos?! Mahal ha pero LWB High Roof na 16 seater yan kaya nagkaganyan ang presyo nyan..

    Baka gawing pang pasada to or ambulance ng iba to imbes na GL Grandia ang kinukuha nila.

    You can see the HIVAN at Great Wall cars North EDSA.... 16 seater van.. 2.5 CRDI Turbo with Intercooler.. Licensure copy of Toyota Grandia... DK4 engine model...

    Kamusta kaya ito as a family vehicle? Wala pa masyado feedback. Interested if there are any major problems, fleet management can sort out smaller ones. Huwag lang sasabog ang makina or major failure.

    may nakausap ako SA sa banawe dahil may inaantay ako, out of boredom, pumasok ako ng joylong :D ok sila kung hindi lang sana china brand. optional sila lahat. seating configuration, ilan gusto mong capacity. pwede, standard, aero, captain. pati yung sa gitna na harap pwede ka pumili kung console box or seat ang gus2 mo. sabi din sakin ang engine nila from toyota and mitsu. pwede ka ata pumili sabi nya. optional din ang gps, dvd, sliding window. sabi lang sakin, kaya walang masyado nakakaalam, kuripot daw manager nila, ayaw gumastos for advertising
