yes, I was there. ganda nung m3. Better looking than the Vios in my opinion. At malaki sya sa loob. Malaki pa ata space nya sa 7 ko. ahaha!
minus points lang sa aking yung beige interior, and walang black. But I'll wait for the orange one, bago ako magdecide.

Yes sir rollyic. According sa review ng Top Gear maganda din daw po yung binigay niyang FC nung tumakbo sila. Maganda din daw hatak niya.
Sir slapz, advise kita pag meron na yung passion orange na color available.

Wala pa sir yung bagong Haima 7. Pero yung mga nilalabas namin ngayon na unit is may changes naman in the interiors without changing its price.

I've been following this thread for almost a year now. I never owned a car before and only have about 4 hours of driving experience 4 years ago pa. I will enroll again one of these days.

I've been reading a lot of forum threads (including this one which I've been checking for like a year now) and reviews and have finally narrowed down my choices. Might be the weirdest options you've seen as most would compare cars within the same price range or of the same type (same engine, same class, etc).
    1. Toyota Vios 1.5G AT - [PEACE OF MIND] Probably would give me the least problems in terms of parts and repair.
    2. Haima 7 AT Deluxe - [VERSATILITY] A better "value proposition" in terms of cost-to-feature ratio. I'm from Baguio and my relatives live in other parts of Benguet (which I think most of you would know the terrain type - zigzags, mountains, unpaved roads). There are certain locations where I might not be able to bring the Vios. Lower interest din around 43% vs 47% sa Toyota.

They both have promos this month and I hope to make a decision before the month ends. I hope to get your insights on how to make the final decision based on your experiences, that will surely help me a lot make the final decision.

My biggest fear for the Haima is cost of ownership. I might run into some major problems in the future where parts replacement is necessary and would cause me long downtime of not being able to use the car. Fuel consumption might also be an issue because of our terrain here in Baguio.

Sir Slapz - you own one. If I were to ask, based on your experience, what reasons would you have to discourage me from buying Haima 7 (this is my lame attempt at a good Ms. Universe question)?

P.S - I've also considered the following in my many months of research.
    2. Chevrolet Spin 1.5 LTZ - Mababa yung ground clearance, parang Carens. I'd get a sub-compact nalang kung ganun din lang.
    3. Corolla Altis 1.6G - Eto yung papalitan nung parating na Altis. Ok na sana kasi ang laki ng discount (70K) pero isa lang ang airbag. Yung 1.6V naman kasi mahal na (around 900,000 after discount). I think that's too expensive for a compact.

The only thing I could tell you why you shouldn't buy a Haima7 A/T is because I don't have the TOTL 7, but just the Comfort. Because I don't want too much technology on an unproven brand back then.

If you are from Baguio, which is andami ng 7 ata dyan, malakas ata sales ng Haima dyan.

Sa major parts, parepareho lang naman atang may downtime yan, kinagandahan sa Haima, direct naman ang Laus Group sa Haima, so mas madali siguro sila makakuha ng parts per se, unlike the likes of other brands na a dealer will have to go to the country provider or something.

My 7 has 15100 KMs now. Problem? Natanggal yung USB ko before, which nagawa naman ng Casa for free. Wala pa ulit problem. Nasa tao din siguro. ehehe!

    smooth and fast

*lexiconmaster: why not an innova? diesel, higher ground clearance than a vios, proven reliability, parts availability. plus you get the extra 2 seats.
