A modern tech 1.6L GDI turbo. power in the neighborhood of 120-150hp.

More than anything, this China car is developed (not merely reproduced; more so copied) mainly by european engineers.

No offense with the car maker brand but if this vehicle will be sold here in our shore, even my chinese relatives will have a second thought of buying this brand or rather stick to the common and well known brand like toyota, mitsu and honda. Maybe in china, this car will be a big hit

It will all depend on the price.... kung gayahin nila ung Toyota nung nagsisimula pa lang ito sa pinas, very cheap daw ito sabi ng tito ko kaya madaming pinoy ang bumili, and slowly nadominate nya ung car market and later nagtaas na din sila ng price ng madami ng loyal customers.

We keep laughing on China. That's what we do- laugh at them. While they develop (or copy, whatever you call) their own vehicles, we just lounge around. Proud of our ever reliable jeepney.

Here in our country, first impression is very important especially majority here is brand conscious and some are conservative. Japanese car maker is well known for high quality and good reputation whereas china products are well known for mass production and low quality but in this juncture, this is the right time to prove that their products are durable and dependable. Time will tell

Not all China products are junks

Keep that in mind. But, what the chinese folks lacks is consistency, even our supplier, minsan OK na, after a few shipment may mga reject quality na naman. hahahaha! parang tange hehe :p

The Americans have been building cars for decades, but they still suck in terms of reliability and design.

Lack of consistency = low quality? BMW is a good example. BMW produces consistently superior cars that are the most benchmarked vehicles in the industry. thats why inmo, some car manufacturers follow the footstep of this brand then enhance it.Second problem of china car product here is the aftersales and resale values compare to japanese counterparts.

    Hear hear!

I totally agree. We laugh now but one day, Generation Z Pinoys will be manufacturing these Chinese cars in Laguna.

    BTT:

The car is a prototype... a concept, even. It's ok to have fake trunk handles. The guy in the video is an idiot.
