HOWEVER, since you mentioned about the overheating incident - which I tried to fish out earlier in this thread, well I was also informed by a VERY RELIABLE SOURCE who actually SAW the SMOKE coming out from the hood! On that particular event, exactly as what you mentioned above drey! Wow! So it was true!

I was told that it was a solenoid switch wire that gave way from inside the transmission component of some sort. The thing simply was not able to stand the heat that day and went up in smokes! So it is true!!!

And the most funny thing was ... the driver or drivers were some sort of reporters from a well known car magazine .... or a car forum website maybe?

Beni Showroom? In Sheridan Mandaluyong?! Hey that's about 15 minutes from where I live!!! Sheridan? Where the badminton courts are right? Now why the hell should they put a showroom of a new brand somewhere in Sheridan?! Is it nice?

FAW - as i understand, dala din to ng focus ventures/dealer ng chana? just saw a "wagon-r" type micro wagon plying edsa (from ortigas before and after the road level area and santolan to kamuning area...sa cubao ko lang di nakita kasi diba underpass na dun..after cubao, nakita ko ulit plying, after that i didnot get a glimpse of the front end..around 4-430pm, yellow color. di ko ma kita ng maigi kasi nasa mrt ako slightly sa gitna, madaming pasahero at .. as i observed, well can do 70-80 as it passed the mrt i was riding which was doing 60-65kph..

i know it say FAW in the rear, i saw that clearly...

I drive a 30 year old car and honest to goodness it only failed me on the road due to a flat tire. But it is long due for retirement and I am currently on the look out for more affordable, fuel efficient, technology comprehensive cars.

I plan to get the QQ kasi may automatic tranny...

Pero nakita ko ang Benni.. I like it actually the car better then the QQ, and the 1300cc engine kasi mas matipid.. galing kasi ako sa 1600cc 12R engine na hindi sumuko sa lahat ng biyahe ko :D

May CHANA dealer yata (di ako sure kung Chana) sa SHAW corner SAMAT and I am planning to see if they have a BENNI on display.. Saan pa po ba may CHANA dealer?

Maglalabas po ba ng Automatic Tranny and Benni? Sana po kasi mas kailangan ng misis ko ng matic :D

The review says POOR QUALITY all over. Wait na lang daw for Chana Benni 2.

The Chana BENNI is overpriced at P440T. For the price you can get a 2004 Civic or an Altis.

Remember, its an unknown brand with an unknown service record.

Plus it has an unknown smell (Silver Swan daw accdg. to PETERCROSS)
