The plug-in hybrid pickup truck from BYD will make its Philippine debut on March 7, 2025, at the Aseana City Open Grounds across Ayala Malls Manila Bay. In addition, the official launch will be live-streamed on social media to allow netizens to watch the big reveal online at 6:30 PM this Friday.

The poor reception is attributed to the Shark 6 DMO’s higher asking price of about THB 1.7-million (Php 3-million), which is higher than established rivals such as the Toyota Hilux, Isuzu D-MAX, and Ford Ranger.
