gaya nga ng sabi ng mga ibang owners, mas uniform na yun sound
for fuel consumption, for me same lang.
response? i can't feel ano difference kasi malakas talaga before and after

one thing i noticed, yesterday nun nag full tank ako sa unioil mind ave, ang tagal umangat nun gas gauge!
unlike before, pag ON/Start ng engine ayun na, updated or nag rreflect agad.
yun kahapon naka uwi na ako dito sa amin at na-park ko nga almost 3/4 pa lang.
i bet na pag ginamit ko now, aangat pa din sya hahaha

    anyone who had same exp/problem?
Sir hindi AC Delco nilagay sa'yo. Otger brand yan na mineral oil. Kasi kaming naka AC Delco na dexos2 aside from mas uniform ang engine noise, mas malakas hatak at mas matipid FC. To answer your problem, naexperience ko rin yan before. The best solution to that is before starting the engine, hintayin mo muna tumigil yung fuel gauge needle before starting the engine.

Kung CI-4 or CJ-4 ang API rating, ok lang pero there would be side effects like reduced engine performance and higher fuel consumption. Tapos hindi pa cost effective since every PMS mo kailangan mag change oik

yung 2.5/2.8 ata refers to the amount of air-fuel mixture that the engine can move (engine displacement), not necessarily the oil volume though I would agree that they are related.

Looking back sa total cost ng 1st PMS, Chevy North seems top sa "presyuhan", Yung banga ko sa rear bumper the quotation is about P 56K (replacement of fenders) while sa 3rd party decent auto shop is about P5K (no replacement of fender). I inquired my Insurance ang participation ko is around P9K. So where will I go? he he he. Apparently the involved taxi driver & operator has no interest for dialogue.

Typical cab operator. Patigasan ng mukha! I bet the police/enforcer was no help at all o baka obvious na sa taxi pa nakaside.

Yung suggestion sir RTS about making your insurance agent deal with the taxi company, how did that work out?

I submitted required documents minus police report, bahala na raw sila , sa shop they have there own affilated shop daw but for the meantime have to wait for the replacement fender, our participation P 9K plus. they will notify us when to bring the car, I think sa chevy casa din kaya lang mas mura ang quotation kaysa North.

Since major damage na yan, just let the casa repair it and the insurance shoulder the costs.

Go to the nearest one sir pero since the owners of Chevrolet Commonwealth also owns Isuzu Dagupan, I think you can claim the insurance (if you will be getting in-house insurance of Chevrolet Commonwealth) there even if the repair estimate came from Chevrolet Dagupan

Good evening sirs. i saw from the posts that different chevy dealers are owned by different people. let's say i got one from chevy north edsa (Caleb's), can I go and have my PMS at chevy alabang (Junno's)? magkakaproblema ba ako sa mga warranty claims?

Dapat wala, in any case of arbitration TCCCI is the deciding body. In fact most times the dealerships will blame their parent company for any claim denials regardless of the brand.

Sir don't worry. Majority of us owners walang ganyang experience. 2 pa lang sila ni Ram Angle na ganyan ang nangyari. And albert_b's alternator had been replaced already. No worries na.

Sa Chevy Commonwealth mura lang ang oil top up with oil filter change. 3.4k kasama na labor. Pag oil change na PMS with all the accompanying na gagawin, 6.9k lang with labor na. That's for the Trailblazer. Mura lang labor nila wala pang 2k. Around 1.5-1.7k lang.

Mga Sir nun 1st PMS nyo ba nag Engine Flush ba? I am reading/researching about it and it is bad for the engine unless di daw alam yun history ng car/engine. kasi strong chemical daw yun tapos ang sabi nila yun chemical ng engine oil natin is enough to clean the internals.

    any input(s)? thanks

^its not that bad, its just not necessary for a 1thou km PMS because a mineral oil will not exhibit gumming or gelling in a short period of ownership. engine flushing mixture soften gums to make it easy to extract that unwanted material in your engine. for the first 1thou km its important to remove the metal shavings due to natural tight fit of a newly assembled engine as soon as possible

for 5thou km PMS which had taken some time (at least 6 months), its fine, just to avoid the hassle of arguing with the service advisor. brand new cars are typically filled with mineral oil for economical reason & its susceptible to gumming. remember after manufacturing, your brand new car was filled with oil & stayed in the stock yard for quite a while before you got your hands with it

just think of it as having it (flushing) billed in your receipt will help in future warranty claims
