Loud noise after Optra was repaired

nag overheat po kotse ko. yung pinsan ko nung makitang walang laman ang coolant, nilagyan agad ng tubig kahit bago lang tumirik ang kotse.
kaya ayun di na umandar.
tinow sa casa.
swerte at reface lang at walang nag crack sa cylinder.
so ng umandar na ulit ang kotse, after a few days napansin ko iba na ang tunog kahit naka idle. parang malakas na vaccuum cleaner nga eh.
ba't po ganun?

btw, sinali na rin nila nireplace yung timing belt kasi nasa 70k na odo.

What did they re-surface? ... the engine head? If yes, it means the overheat caused damage by warping the engine head. It's also possible there is some other damage in the block that hasn't yet become known.

As for the "new" noise, try checking around the exhaust manifold for a damaged gasket or cracked welding or tubing.

yup engine head. la nang problem sa block.
yung intake manifold, i remember na pioneer mighty gasket na pinalit sa gasket kasi wala ako nakita nagbebenta nun. yung kulay pula pinili ko kasi mas mataas na temp ang kaya nun kaysa sa kulay black.

inadjust din daw nila ang throttle body.
i dunno pero di naman yata maapektuhan ang throttle body pag overheat ang problem.

issue: loud noise, kinda like vaccuum cleaner.
solution:
change alternator bearings.
2 bearings, number's 6202 and 6203.
cost at least 100pesos each.
