"Where can you get the best after-sales service in the Philippines?

    26 Sep 2011

Clients getting out of Chevrolet service centers are the most satisfied customers when it comes to getting after-sales services in the Philippines, a study conducted by J. D. Power Asia Pacific shows.

According to J. D. Power's 2011 Philippines Customer Satisfaction Index Study, Chevrolet ranks highest with a score of 827 points in overall satisfaction for maintenance or repair work in the first 12 to 24 months of owning a brand-new vehicle. It is followed by Suzuki with 821 points and Ford with 811 points.

"Manufacturers and dealerships today realize the bottom-line impact of satisfying owners and are investing in driving service excellence in their dealerships," said Mohit Arora, J. D. Power Asia Pacific's executive director. "The improvements in the industry in 2011 demonstrate this impact, with five nameplates achieving double-digit gains from 2010."

Chevy now has a 5-Year Warranty and so far wala pa naman akong naririnig na nagrereklamo about chevy parts. Regarding sa FC, ang takbo ko for city driving is between 8 to 10 km/L and on highway, nakakaabot ako ng 14 km/L.

If you're getting a 2.0, don't get the Altis. The Altis 2.0 isn't that great on gas. It no longer handles like an overpowered boat (the previous car could be set to fish-tailing in emergency maneuvers), but the suspension and brakes are still not up to the task of reining in the (admittedly powerful) 2 liter engine. The brakes wilt pretty quickly because of the surge of the engine in traffic. And interior space isn't quite as good as in the Cruze, which is huge in comparison (but with a tiny trunk).

I'd rather get the top-of-the-line Cruze. More luxurious, more solid, better composed ride, better handling (without sacrificing ride quality) and better interior materials and seats. Only thing is, I hate how slowly the 6-speed transmission responds. The 6-speed auto in the 1.8 Elantra is miles better...

But if you're getting the 1.6 Altis? Hard to make a case for the Cruze against that, because even the automatic Altis 1.6 is very economical. Ride still isn't as good as the Cruze, because they stiffened the suspension a bit this year, but it's a very practical car.

Dark horse: The Elantra: Fantastic new engines, fantastic looking and feeling interior, fantastic transmissions, good handling, decent ride, terrific exterior styling. Interior space is similar to the Cruze and Lancer (the biggest cars around) while not sacrificing trunk space like those two do. Only complaints are the sound insulation isn't as good as the Cruze or Focus, and there's a lack of oomph from the rear speakers on the 1.8.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

So far wala pa naman akong narinig o nabalitaan na nagreklamo about Chevy parts na mahal o mahirap hagilapin. The recent survey conducted nag No. 1 ang Chevrolet sa customer service. And I am can proudly say na hindi pa kami binigo ng TCCCI/Chevrolet Philippines. Each time na may problema kami andyan sila at mabilis na umaksyon.
