last dec may free ipad mini ang sonic ah. ewan ko lang kung tapos na. baka sakaling may SA na mailusot kung tapos na yun. hehe

Wala na raw yun ngayon. I heard promo yun dati sa 1st 100 sonic buyers. Sayang nga d kmi umabot.

Finally a sonic owner! City 2008 kami ngayon kakatapos lang ng last payment and sonic ang napili ng misis ko as the next car. Feature wise walang sinabi ang city sa sonic mas madami pang features ang accent 1.6.

Parang city na ba ang steering after macorrect ang hangin? Yung slow acceleration accepted na ng misis ko siguro naman di hirap mag overtake ng tricycle at slow trucks hehe.

Sana dumami sonic owners :-)

Here's some features ng Sonic na simple lng naman pero sobrang natuwa ako kasi wala sa dati naming honda city 2006 and sa pagkakaalam ko wala rin sa latest honda city:
1. Auto flipping side mirrors
2. Oil change indicator
3. Immobilizer
4, Trip Computer (info about your ave speed, driving distance (in Km) for the remaining fuel and average Km/L)
5. Bluetooth (through a paired phone, can make and receive calls through the controls sa steering wheel. Mic and speakers na built in sa car ang magagamit )
6. TPM (Tire Pressure Monitor) - this one though I have yet to confirm. Available to based sa specs ni Sonic sa website ni Chevy Philippines but I could not seem to find anything about it sa manual).

Bili na Sonic guys!!! Hehehe.

Yung tire pressure monitor malabo andun sya sa yellow brochure pero wala sa blue brochure.

Isama mo na rin yung rear park assist wala yan sa 2008 city namin. Yung misis ko after makita yung auto fold side mirror ng sonic lahat ng tiningnan naming models after hinahanap yun and ang common answer is available lang sa higher models. Narealize nya importance nun kasi street parking sa lucena and hirap sya ifold ang passenger side mirror. Ako naman nababadtrip pag while driving marerealize ko naka fold pala yung passenger side mirror.

Isa pa palang nagustuhan ko yung auto lock pag nag drive ka na lagi kasi ako nasisita ng misis ko nalilimutan mag lock :D

Eto pa list ng meron sa sonic pero wala sa city 1.5:

- 60/40 rear seat fold
- 16" wheels
- digital speedometer
- 6 speakers
- dual glove compartment
- remote trunk lid opener

BTW nasubukan mo na yung manual mode kung better sa acceleration?

It seems maraming features ang sonic na hindi ordinarily available sa City or other similar subcompacts. How about yung reverse? Yung available sa iba pero wala sa Sonic? May maibabahagi ka ba sir jun?

lancer ex - touchscreen that can play movies
accent 1.6 - blue pack (fuel efficiency package)
city - hill hold assist, telescopic steering wheel, rear disc break
fiesta - hill hold assist

at mukhang lahat sila mas mabilis ang acceleration :-)

Hmmm... except for the rear disc brake and the blue pack, the rest are not very critical. Yung mabagal na acceleration, di kaya dahil yun sa mas mabigat yung Sonic compared to other cars in its class? So parang mas stable siya pero mas mabagal acceleration because of the same reason: the weight?

Yes yan daw ang isang factor mabigat ang sonic though may ibang nagsabi dahil daw sa gear ratio?

Btw di kami nakapagtest drive pero sa test ride on sharp corners humahagis kami pero ramdam mo na kapit na kapit ang sonic sa kalsada.
