Chevrolet warranty conditions?

Hello,

I just acquired an Optra 2008 1.6LS a/t VGIS engine from PSBank automart. Odo is 8064km. I got a copy of the original CR dated July 2008.

Nung nilabas ko dineretso ko sa Casa do to a little bodywork, change oil and checkup...

Ang alam kong warranty ng Optra is 3 years or 100,000km whichever comes first. Pero hindi na-honor nung Chevrolet Pasig yung warranty. Dahil daw over 2 years na hindi na-service yung unit (which is true). Naka garage sya sa warehouse ng PSbank for over 2 years.

Question ko is ganun ba talaga? Hindi naman nagamit yung unit for the 2 years na hindi sya na-service. Di ba dapat covered pa rin sya ng warranty for the check-up and maintenance becuase it is still within the 3 years / 100k kms coverage as stated in the warranty contract?

Hi... I think ganun talaga xia.. even with other casas, warranty is void once you have missed any preventive maintenance as scheduled.

usually its 1st 1k, then every 5k km ang pacheck up.. otherwise mavovoid ang warranty. ganun kasi sa hyundai.

maaari ngang void na ,kasi di nafollow yung PMS.



Kausapin mo ang manager, ipaliwanag mo situation mo...baka malaki bonus nya at nakapuypuy ng maayos at baka mapagbigyan ka pa....

Ganyan naman talaga ang warranty, failure to follow the PMS will void the warranty.

Ngayon, kausapin mo si sir Awalit at mga alipores niya sa Chevrolet Pasig, explain mo kung bakit 2 years na hindi na-PMS yung car.

a missed PMS is a missed PMS, no exceptions.

obviously wala nang warranty ang optra mo, but all I can say is a big "WHO CARES?".

you have a good car, ipa-service mo lang sa gas stations at alagaan mo lang and you can maintain your car better than those "casa maintained". i have a 2008 model car with a voided warranty just on it's 7th month, ipagcompare mo pa sa "casa maintained" na same model almost same lang ang performance or let me say, baka mas maganda pa nga performance ng auto ko.

all I can say, casa lang iyan, napakaraming competitive shops na pwede magpa-pms let me say for example kay sir Migs ng Speedy Fix. any gasoline stations would do too.

it's in the manual/warranty booklet. warranty void if you missed scheduled pms

sa toyota hindi ganun, maski naka miss ka basta di mo pinagawa sa iba, isasabay lang nila yung namiss mo..happened to me, pang 25kms ko diretso na 30kms PMS

Tsaka wala rin naman silbi kahit dalahin mo pa sa casa yung Optra eh. Ang mahal ng parts nyan Ang laki ng nabawas sa expenses namin nung binenta yung 2004 Optra LS..

Available na naman sa Banawe at Thunder Auto Parts yung mga original spare parts ng Optra eh. Mura pa doon. Dalahin mo nalang sa speedyfix for the regular PMS. Royal Purple pa oil mo.
