I will have to revalidate myself that 1 quart per quarter closely. I plan to do a change oil this week. By the way, I bought my GM Dexos 2 oil and AC Delco oil filter from Lightning Automotive in Mandaluyong which is owned by Thunder Auto too. After that i will closely monitor my consumption so that I can conclude and share it here.
1- How was your Break-In period? If you are the first owner.
Never experienced issues during my Break in period. I enjoyed its power and torque and the fuel efficiency closed to my Gen 1 Montero which i flipped to buy this LT.
2- What's your driving style? City and Highway and your RPMs sweet spot?
LT is a daily drive. Its case is thick and I feel secure using it. It is “macho” in my eyes and like driving it. Sweet spot probably in the 3krpm. I dont drive it too fast. I have other vehicles in my garage apt for spirited driving.
3- Turbo is in good shape? Bearings, Turbine and Seals?
I think so. I dont see any leaks anywhere and i dont experience any weird revs or sounds.
4- Any black/blue exhaust smoke while idling? Revving? In what scenarios if ever? None that I have experienced.
5- Does your vehicle shift properly or it struggles/shudders when shifting?
Shifts smoothly
6- Any oil leak somewhere? I havent seen any
7- Engine temperature? Any sudden surges?
This engine is cool. Always before midpoint of the temp gauge.
8- Coolant life and level?
Coolant is half full. Have not tapped it up lately.
9- Any Radiator/Fans issue? None.
Overall, i still like this vehicle. Perhaps it will stay for another year before disposing it. Not much available options in the market to flip this to chase another midsize SUV like this.

Pick-up passenger vehicle...
Yung mga suv na based sa pick-up truck sa kanilang brand... like terra based on navara, fortuner sa hi-lux abd etc... IMO pick-up truck na instead for carrying cargo ginawang more on carrying passenger thus PPV... thats just for me...
Hope it helps...

I think what was refferred as 50k is 50k km PMS, not the cost.![]()
Meron nga po sa manual ng chevy vehicles kung ano po ang mga need gawin for every PMS.
Pwede din po kayo mag request ng quotation sa casa in advance.
I'm sure meron din po fb group for TB owners where you can ask fellow owners about PMS.
Meron po kasi kami fb group for sonic/aveo owners.
<snip> haha ok mali, will wait for quotation breakdown

Hi everyone, thanks for the reply! HereÂ’s the quotation from casa for my 2014 4x2 2.8L A/T TB, current mileage is 55k km.
IÂ’ll compare this list vs the ownerÂ’s manual but I think, this is way TOO much!
Any recommendation for best shops I can have the job done will be greatly appreciated

These are not really part of the PMS. Medyo biggish repair na ito.
You can ask ano yung nangyari dito...? Why do they want to replace these? Did they see the car beforehand or did they quote these parts without seeing the car? I'd be very wary if they quoted this without inspecting your car first.
We have 10-15 year old cars we beat on every day and have yet to replace the pulleys and water pumps on. We replaced the tensioner and drive belt on our non Chevy sedan last year (at that time, it was 11 years old and approx 75k KMS). 4 Years and 55K KMs seems to early to be replacing these parts
This should be more what a standard PMS looks like, pero check your manual just to be sure. You can actually omit the air filter and pollen filter if you know how to clean it yourself. Yung AC/Pollen filter, pwede mo lang ibanlaw sa balde na may mild detergent + rinse of water, probably good until your next or next next PMS.

in my case, done doing the all belts and pulleys/pumps at 95k ODO reading (manual says 60k or 3yrs whichever come first).
- all parts were provided by me from Thunder Banawe except for those not available at that time (most listed parts below are much cheaper here though that was 2017). my casa is chevy dagupan under laus group (NO "corkage" fee on all parts brought in)
- recommend to replace both belts together and its accessories to avoid double labor charge
- there's a "SPECIAL TOOL" used by casa to achieve the factory timing setting. strongly suggest to let casa do it for you.
- IIRC, my all belts replacement plus PMS and labor cost was around 40k only which is much lower than your casa quoted amount.
- sa 55k ODO reading ba ang OCI PMS mo? if i were you, i'll do the all belts replacement not together with the usual 10k OCI to "lessen" the total cost.
Every 3 years ang pulleys and pump??? Well played, Chevy. Either they know they have inferior products or they are really hurting for cash...
Aw.
So fellow owners mismo magbigay ng tips.

In the casa, if they wanted to inspect the timing belt and the drive belts, the labor costs alone will be similar to replacing them.
For peace of mind tho, just replace the timing belt and drive belts, idler pulleys etc. Since, pag naputol sila, sira makina.
Replace 7-13
Take a gamble with 14.
But ur call.
Succeeding pms, have it done outside. Basta every 60k kms, do 7-13.
Hold on... Check ur manual, timing belt supposed to be at 80k kms.
Drive belts can be at 60k kms.
If u tell them to inspect, they'll tell u, manipis na, without really inspecting. Of course ninipis vs bago, kasi ginagamit.
