That is correct. In our situation, we have a Seaoil station near our place, and that is where we normally go. But if in case I passed by a Unioil one, I will fill up there too. With the feedbacks from people who had tried the Seaoil, Unioil and the Big 3, it shows that we have some good options now.

My brother is looking at buying a trail blazer too. He lives in the province.
The only gas stations in their place is Petron, and Caltex.
All of them sell only regular diesel fuels. No premium.

My question is: In the manual what type of fuel is recommended
    by the manufacturer?
Is the regular Euro 2 fuel sold by the big3 not recommended by
    the manufacturer?
    Many thanks

Unioil - reduced engine noise & vibration. Euro 4 diesel. Cetane rating 55.
Eastern - same with unioil. Unioil is the supplier of petroleum prdts of eastern.
Seaoil - based sa website nila euro 3 but performs like euro 5. Malaking kalokohan na advertisement. Pag wala talagang unioil or eastern station, tyaga tyaga ako sa seaoil. Ok din un stp additives nila. Cetane rating 50-52.
    Big three - never.

Unioil is the top one choice, or any other euro IV diesels. The big 3 only offer euro II level of fuels, including the premium ones, they just added some additives, still the same old euro II. The big 3 diesels will generate much more smoke, loud engine noise, vibration, even bad smell from the exhaust, and they will destroy your fuel filter in no time.
