Units will come from China (SAIC)
Should be similar to model introduced in Korea last year.

Chevrolet Trailblazer returning to PH as a crossover | Autoindustriya

First revealed in mid-2019, the upcoming crossover that carries the same name is not related to the Trailblazer SUV we used to have.
Powering the Trailblazer is a 1.3-liter turbocharged EcoTec four-cylinder engine. It makes 164 PS along with 240 Nm of torque. The inline-four is then connected to a CVT on the front-wheel drive models. Should we get an all-wheel drive version, the engine will instead be mated to a nine-speed automatic.

PH-market Chevrolet Trailblazer will not come from China | Autoindustriya

TCCCI got in touch with us and confirmed that this new crossover will not be from SAIC-GM, but will be a GM Korea product.

In this part of the world, the last remaining production facilities of General Motors is located in South Korea, and that's where our 2022 Trailblazer will come from. They actually also export that same Trailblazer to the North American market.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if the Chinese Trailblazer matches the quality of the Korean Trailblazer.

The outcome though of sourcing it from South Korea is the higher price. (P1,488,888 to P1,621,888)

TCCCI calls the new Trailblazer a premium compact SUV, but it's actually the size of a Corolla Cross.
It is positioned below the Equinox which is Chevy's Rav4, CR-V, CX-5, Forester fighter.

Okay nga sana itong Trailblazer, iyong lang reputation ng Chevy after sales dito, tapos madalas mag discountinue ng models...

Pang HR-V at Corolla Cross level nga daw.

More powerful engine, but the vehicle itself is smaller and more expensive (probably one of the reasons it isn't common here).

TCCCI calls the Trailblazer a compact SUV but it's really more of a subcompact SUV with a rear torsion beam suspension. It's longer than a Coolray but shorter than a Corolla Cross.

Chevrolet recently launched the Seeker aka all-new Trax, this is longer (but lower) than the Trailblazer. This one might actually do better than the Trailblazer if sold here.

Hi everyone! In South America we have the third facelift generation of Trailblazer. As the 2nd, GM made few changes to the SUV.

You're lucky there. Here, the production for this diesel type is discontinued already. It was replaced by a smaller crossover gasoline type Trailblazer.

Good to hear that! But I don't think it will come to our shores since the landing cost coming from Brazil will make it's price to be high. As it is, Chev brand can't cope up with the competition here in the Philippines.
