Facelifted model caught testing in Brasil.

Hopefully improved NVH and Suspension and maybe interior but I think the plastics will remain.

Interesting. It still has the best engine among the competitors

I've driven the Trailblazer's engine (but on a Jeep Rubicon), and it's truly impressive. However, for a family SUV, I don't find it necessary. 140-160 hp is enough considering that none of these PPV's have good brakes, steering, or handling.

I feel safer with my sedans at 180 kph than I do driving Monteros and Fortuners at 140 kph.

Pickup-Passenger Vehicle ata, I read it from a Thai site.

Btw, anyone read AI's '2016' TB LTZ review? Parang wala naman ata bago for this year's model?

Drove the VM engine too on the jeep and it didn't impress me. High power and torque doesn't necessarily mean its the best. Maingay ang engine ng TBZ, rough and medyo mahirap pigain. Its powerful but not really sure if I felt the 500nm.

Whats impressive is at that output ratings, it has no reliability issues right? Correct me if Im wrong. Galing din ng tuning.

I read somewhere kumakain daw ng langis, sa AU sites ko siya una nabasa then dito na satin, magdala daw ng 1-2 liters of oil lagi? Dunno if it's true though.

I have a Trailblazer, it doesn't consume more oil than normal. Mine is already 3 years old and at 66,000 kms. No issues so far

Can Chevy dethrone the new gen class of 2016?

    New/revised suspension ...
    New steering calibration...
    Significant NVH improvements...
    Recalibrated 6sp automatic trans...

They already have the new fortuner and pajero sport in their backyard. Hopefully they do beat those japanese volume sellers in terms of the above listed.

Same old ugly interior and bland exterior, same old poor resale value, same old lack of brand preference, same old lack of spare parts outside casa.

    So the answer's a definite no. [emoji23]

If they've retuned the transmission, maybe not.

The problem seems to be the transmission is a bit "loose"... the torque converter doesn't lock as readily as in other cars. This, of course, helps it build boost for better acceleration, but it hurts economy in traffic.

Having finally driven all the contenders... eh... I'm undecided. The new trucks are nice, but a little improvement to the current TB... interior plastic overhaul and some suspension recalibration (as well as that heavy steering) could see it back in the thick of the fight.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
